This takes me back:
Back to the good old days when dirty clothes meant we had a good day full of kati, kalongolongo, bladder, kamawe☺ adventures. Our happiness levels depended on the very simple aspects of life. Our strengths were measured by how tearless we stood up after a fall( or shld i say, after 'umemwagika' and ur magoti is bruised buut your friends are around and u have to be 'stero' so u kausha.
How we thought there was a handful of some magic words to pray,or cross our fingers so that we wont meet with mwiko after a mistake. How we were as sure as the sun that our futures wld turn out just the way we wanted it to,u know a guarantee of a mansion and a car by 20 years. Oh,and all the talks abt the system. Of how we danced in the rain, smiled with strangers, went for dufo mpararo and the 'slido' on  bare  mbommboms on a steepy slope.  And how sundayschool meant we get free sweets with burdens too small for other hearts to share.
Goood old days.
