Looking Back at the 2025 Women in Business Summit

March, mh. I hope it landed softly on your shoulders like a bird. Singing the sweetest song,drenching your soul with hope and positivity.  Sa si on Tuesday I was invited for this Women in Business Summit. I ironed my kitenge on Monday  night. I did the red carpet walk between my dressing area and the closet.. the audience (my wall) clapped in approval.  Let me tell you, the next day.. small small voice told me to go meet a client along thika road  before proceeding to the Hyatt Regency for the summit. On my way back, somewhere near Mathare Hospital, the Uber driver says "madam nikama huku si kuzuri". I say "ehee" absent mindedly. Ghafla bin vuu cha mkufuu hu ha!..people are alighting matatus and running in the opposite direction. Uber driver opens the door and runs. An imaginary bird starts flapping its wings in my stomach.. yooh! People are screaming and running.. I am outside on thika road, I have forgotten makeup, I have removed my bata red labels..I'm earthi...
